Bid4Prizes

This site, bid4prizes, has a pretty cool concept going on. They have items on their site that you can bid on, a la everyone’s favorite eBay, but the difference is that the lowest unique bid wins, rather than the highest bid.

Right now, they’ve got a huge variety of stuff listed on the site, such as a Nintendo Wii, an Apple iPhone, and a BMW 3 Series (yes, an actual car).

You also get points for the bids you make, and you can turn those points in for stuff at the store on their site.

I could see myself bidding on some sort of fabulous vacation, if something like that was ever available... a safari or Mediterranean cruise, something like that. Depending on the trip, I’d be willing to bid a fair amount, but since it has to be unique, it’d be some weird number, like $3874.91.
