week of July 8: Vacationing

I'll be going on vacation next week, so that inspires this weeks meme:

1. What is your favorite vacation spot?

I love London in the springtime... I love London in the fall...

2. Would you rather drive or fly?

Fly.

3. Have you ever been on a cruise? Would you want to go on one?

Yes, I've been on 4 so far, and we have another one booked for next June.

4. What has been your best/worst vacation?

I've never had a really terrible vacation, although when we went to WDW with Jay and Janet, I spent several days hugging the toilet, which really sucked.

5. How long do you think is long enough for a vacation?

Any amount of time I can get away is long enough. Ideally, at least a week, though.

6. Do you spend alot of money while on vacation? Do you buy alot of souvenirs? What's the coolest one you've gotten?

We tend to spend a lot of money on good meals and nice hotels. Not so much on souvenirs, but we usually bring home one or two little things. I'll typically pick up a (tacky) Christmas ornament.

7. If money were no object, where would you go on vacation?

Africa, for safari.
