2.5 years!

Ella is two and and half years old today, which really just blows my mind when I stop and think about it for a minute.  Has it really been that long?  Man.

I don't have any pictures to post today, as she and I have both been dealing w/a nasty little stomach bug for the past couple of days.   Soon, though.

So what's Ella like these days?

• Can recognize almost all of her letters.  There are a few that still throw her off (C, h, r), but she really has them down pat for the most part.
• Loves school.  Loves it.  She sings songs from school all the time, talks about her friends there, calls them on the phone, etc.
• Knows all the basic colors now.  Finally, everything has stopped being blue!
• Will argue with you about anything.  If I say the sky is blue, she'll say (ever so cutely), "No, it's not!" It can be annoying, and mostly, I've learned to just give up and say, "Okay, you're right."  This strategy does not apply to things like nap time and baths, however.
• Has developed an obsession with Toy Story recently, and must watch "Buzz and Woody" (either part 1 or 2) daily.   This is particularly excited to Jon and me, since we're taking her on her first trip to Walt Disney World very soon...we can't wait to see her reaction when she's able to see them in person.
• Some of her funny/cute expressions: "My goodness gracious!", "For heaven sakes", "I'm sorry 'bout dat."
