Cosmo-dog.

He'll be 10 years old this year, and you can definitely see his age in the gray on his muzzle. He's still pretty spry, though -- having a pesty younger brother keeps him on his toes (claws)?

Snack Time -- animal crackers and milk make for a post-nap treat.

This is Ella's snack of choice these days. She goes through phases. I hope this one lasts awhile -- the animal crackers came from Costco, so we have a lot to plow through :)

Ella remembered me taking my picture yesterday of my drink, and was very insistent that I take a picture of her with her milk tonight.

Hence, what we have here.

White Christmas

I didn't mention in my previous Xmas post, but we actually had a white Christmas this year!  It was pretty magical -- it started snowing around 11am, and went for almost a full 24 hours.  We wound up with around 6" or so, I guess.

It was the first white Christmas I'd seen, and I think they said on the news that it was actually the first one here since 1967 or something like that.  Pretty cool.


These pictures were actually taken the day after Christmas, after everything had stopped falling from the sky.

Since I want to learn how to better use my new camera, I joined a Project 365 on Flickr this year. Basically, it's a photo a day, every day, for the whole year.

I figured that along with posting on the Flickr group, I'd blog my photos as well.

I hope I can stick with it.
