Inspired by Erika's Red Shoes post over on her blog, I snapped a picture of Ella in her pink Chucks when we were out at the Farmers' Market today.
Jenny actually gave these to us at our baby shower, and she's just been able to wear them in the past few months. They kill me with their cuteness. I expect that there will be many more pairs of Converse in her future :)
On a completely unrelated note, I've been listening to We Were Promised Jetpacks (yes, that's actually the name of the band) a lot lately -- good stuff. I recommend you check them out, posthaste. Particularly if you have a thing for Scottish accents. Not that I do or anything.

I cracked up at myself reading this, because I saw the picture and was gasping and otherwise being foolish at the cuteness of pink chucks. Then I read that I picked them out, of course I remember now, but I thought you'd appreciate how dumb I can be. But I have excellent taste in footwear. Bless my heart.
